General Questions
Question: Why do I need to fill out paperwork before being photographed?
​
Answer: The paperwork is for legal purposes, this allows us to be sure of a few different issues that we can come across.
These Issues are covered more in depth in the Paperwork Section on the website.

Question: I need to reschedule my Photo Session, is my initial Payment still good?
​
Answer: Absolutely, we understand things happen, and they don't always happen in our favor. Your initial Payment is good for up
to 90 days. If you can not reschedule within 90 days, you will be issued a refund Minus Deposit (if one was placed). This same situation
is enforced if we need to cancel, However, if it is on Our End, you will be given the 90 day option, or you can opt for a FULL refund.

Question: The place I want to be photographed at has a Fee, will you still photograph there?
​
Answer: If the location is a Fee location you have one of two options, You can pay the Fee, or we can build the fee into the payment (we may even discount it a little!)

Events
Question: My event is outdoors and had to be moved indoor, do you need notice?
​
Answer: While giving us notice is highly appreciated, last minute changes are just that Last Minute. We carry the appropriate
equipment for just that reason
​
Question: Some people at my event do not want to be photographed, what happens then?
​
Answer: This is an issue that is addressed at the beginning of the event with the people in the room, if you hire a roaming photographer
However please keep in mind, that people who do not want to be photographed may appear in the background of other pictures
​
Question: What is the Difference between Roaming and Stationary Photographer?
​
Answer: Our Roaming Photographer will take "Candid" style photos, as well as Direct, meaning they will see a group of people and tell them, "Everyone squeeze in". Our Stationary Photographer, has the subject come to them, and is photographed on a Backdrop of some sort.

Question: Can we make special requests of the Photographer at an event?(I.E. This person or that person Must be at least X amount of photos)

Answer: Absolutely, just because this is a Corporate Event or Birthday party, Our Mission Statement rings true: You Are the Stars
​
Question: What if my event is rescheduled or Cancelled with No Rain Date?
​
Answer: If your event is Rescheduled, reach out to us, we will work with you on getting a photographer for the new date. If
your Event is Cancelled with no new date, a Refund will be issued Minus the Deposit (Should one be placed)

Modeling
Question: I have never modeled before and I am nervous, can I bring a friend?
​
Answer: Absolutely, in fact it is Highly encouraged!! In some cases it is actually Required!
​
Question: Is RavenStar a Modeling Agency?
​
Answer: We are not, and we therefore can not guarantee a job, what we can do, while you hunt for an agent, is build
a strong portfolio so you have something to give an agent.
​
Question: I am a bit on the heavy side, can I still model?
​
Answer: We actually have a question for you! Why Not? Never let your body type say you can not do anything!!
​
Question: I want to be photographed with Firearms, is that a problem?
​
Answer: Depends, but generally not an issue under these circumstances, No Loaded Weapons, and that the area in which
we are photographing allows it.

Question: I Bought a friend, and now my friend wants to be photographed with me, can we?
​
Answer: We always have extra permissions forms with us, however if the person is Under the age of 18, they must have a parent/legal
guardians permission. It is always better to have them fill out the paperwork prior, even if not photographed, Just in Case!
​
Question: Is there an Age Limit?
​
Answer: No. However as stated, persons under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign their permission. Also
persons under the age of 18 must have a parent/Legal guardian present on set. If this is not possible, a person over the age of
21 may be on set with Parental approval!
